Default Another Build help thread

Ok tons of these but here goes. I just started playing a Warrior (in Nightfall) I play mostly PvE, I have looked around and played around with skills a little. The build I'm using is

Dragon Slash
Sever Artery
Gash
Berserker Stance
Sprint
For Great Justice
Power Attack
Sunspear Rebirth Signet

It seems to work but doesn't "feel" very efficient for some reason. I have all the chapters plus EotN, any way just wanted a little input I'm wide open to suggestions.

Thank you for reading

Could we also see some attribute splits please^^.

Based on the available information, I would say that your build is not too bad. Just include enrage charge and flail in place of berserker stance and sprint. For greater juctice is good with Dragon slash keep them.

If I were you TS this is the build I would be running ( On assumption that you have grinded no EOTN allegience points and no faction allegience titles) ( Beaten nf thus have a r8 sunspear rank)

Enranged charge, flail, DS, whirling attack, sun moon slash ,FGJ, optional, rez.

These choices are made in response to your thread so as not to drastically change your given build.

Hope this helps^^.

*Don't take Power Attack on a DSlash bar; you won't need it with FGJ.
*BS+Sprint for Flail+Optional (I couldn't care less about canceling Flail).
*"Save Yourselves" goes in somewhere, probably in the aforementioned optional slot.

Add a paragon secondary with Enduring Harmony. Extends the duration of For Great Justice to 30 seconds.

You have access to Factions and NF skills, so I'd recommend:

- Enraging Charge
- Flail
- Dragon Slash
- Save Yourselves! (Luxon/Kurzick skill)
- Whirlwind Attack (Sunspear skill)
- For Great Justice!
- Enduring Harmony
- ...optional

Forget Sever/Gash, spamming DSlash willl serve you better. Get a Hero to apply Deep Wound or don't bother with it at all.

Also, get EotN. Brawling Headbutt - Steelfang Slash is pretty spiffy.

This may be partly because:

- It can't charge Dslash instantly at the start of a fight. (Enraging Charge)
- Berzerker stance is a bad IAS. (Flail or Frenzy/Rush)

Once you get some pve skills, drop sever/gash for Save Yourselves and Brawling Headbutt, although they do less damage than Sever/Gash they're far more useful to your party in a tight situation.

That depends on what you mean by retarded. If you mean they're dropping maintained enchantments as soon as they cast them, disable them (shift-click) and force them to cast it. If you don't like how much they attack/kite, try changing them to avoid combat/guard, whichever one your prefer. If they just don't use their skillbars very well, you can't do anything other than give them an easier build to play.

@Gennadios
Thank you Enduring Harmony is wicked useful

@Marty
Disabling helped allot, also dumbing down their build a little (the I in AI is a little misleading No?)

Hey, sorry to completly disrupt your build but ive found this one very helpful

W/R - 12Sword - 9 Strength - 9 Tatics
Hundred Blades
Whirlwind
Sun and Moon Slash
Balanced Stance
Berserker Stance <-- Forgotten name of it
Endure Pain
Antidote Signet
Healing Signet

Feel free to modify it as you like - but i find it very effective in PvE

You might also want to go for 14 sword (12+1+1), it'll do wonders.

No. It's a lot misleading. Heroes just do not handle all builds well. Playing a warrior, set your monks to guard and flag them back. Otherwise they sometimes follow you into combat.

First 3 skills are good, rest sucks.

*Balanced is bad because it's a stance, and as such you don't get to use an IAS (no +50% damage and +50% adrenaline).
*Beserker Stance is bad because it can't be maintained. Also ends when you use a skill, so it'll last only a few seconds out of 20.
*Endure Pain is bad because the Monks should be taking care of you, provided you aren't doing anything stupid like overaggroing or overextending. Also, this isn't actually healing you, and you're screwed when it runs out. Screws up Prot Spirit aswell.
*Antidote Signet is meh. Dangerous conditions aren't thrown around enough to justify always running a condition removal. Besides, if you know theres going to be blind spam or something, the Monks can take extra condition removal.
*Healing Signet doesn't suck, it's just that Lion's Comfort is a better self-heal because it provides adrenaline and lets you dump all the points into Strength/other secondary attribute. Difference in healing is insignificant as you'll be taking double damage with HS anyway.

Careful flagging will help a great deal in hard areas, as well as giving them an easy build to work.

I run healing/prot hybrids based on the usual arena pvp monk, and equip them with disciples insignia and q9 shield defensive sets.

The result is that my hero monks work better than anybody elses, and are tanky enough to survive big damage spikes or being chased by several level 24-28 melees.
